We're open as normal but we know things are constantly changing. All the information below is kept up to date and updated on a daily basis. Stay safe and keep well.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION  - Coronavirus COVID-19

As we are only a small business, our day to day activities are strangely almost unaffected by the pandemic with the exception of some difficulties in getting new stock and a shortage of the odd box or two. Working from home, we have minimal outside contact, so there is almost zero risk of any of our items being or having been infected during order picking and dispatch, so subject to the service that our partners in the carrier network are able to provide, all is running smoothly and efficiently from this end. Please note however that we are constantly reviewing current government advice and our circumstances, and we will let you know of any changes to our service. Currently we are working on a standard delivery time of 1-3 working days.

Regularly cleaning is being carried out and most items wiped with 70% alcohol wipes before being packed up. All of our couriers are doing contact free drops and most are wearing gloves for deliveries. You do not have to open the door for your driver.

Royal Mail have published on their website that the closing of US and EU international borders applies to the movement of people, rather than goods, so deliveries can still be made. However, delays are expected due to the authorities in these countries applying special orders e.g. quarantine; or special measures being implemented. A breakdown of the status for each country can be found here.

UK Delivery/Handling Charges

• Standard delivery is charged at £3.95 for most items. Some of our items are slightly more heavy or bulkier, where any such items are included in an order, standard delivery will be charged at a flat rate of £9.95
• For more urgent orders we offer a tracked 48 hour service, charged at a flat rate of £4.95
• Next day delivery, tracked 24 (provided you order before 2 pm) is charged at £6.95 to most destinations 
• Delivery on a few items marked as “heavy/bulky” will be charged at a flat rate of £9.95 - this applies to products that are made to order as well.
• Orders over £30 will be delivered free of charge. This does not apply to items marked as heavy/bulky, in which case the £9.95 charge will apply, or to international orders
• International delivery is charged based on the size and the weight of the items ordered and the country of delivery. The applicable delivery charge will be highlighted at checkout, before payment is taken

Standard Delivery Time

Please allow 3-5 working days for your order to arrive within the UK, although, in most cases, you will receive your order sooner.  For international orders, please allow 5-10 working days as we are at the efficiency and mercy of Royal Mail International (in most cases).
 
Next Day Delivery

If your order is urgent, you can request a Next Day Delivery by our courier (Royal Mail Tracked 24) to most destinations in the UK for £6.95. Alternatively, we offer a Tracked 48 hour delivery service for £4.95.  We do our best to ship the order the same day it is placed for orders placed before 2 pm Monday to Friday However, it can take up to one day to process (If we receive your order by 12 pm Monday you should receive your purchase no later than Wednesday evening).
 
Note: Next Day service is not available for some oversize items or for items shipped direct from the manufacturer.
 
Heavy / Bulky Items Delivery Time

Because some toys, furniture and other large items are bulky and/or heavy, our cost to ship them is higher than for other items. These large items are therefore charged at a flat rate of between £7.95 and £10. This charge is applied instead of the standard delivery charge. For example, if you order two items of clothing as well as a bulky item you will only be charged the flat rate of £9.95 for your total order. Please allow 3-5 working days for your order to arrive, although, in most cases, you will receive your order sooner. 
 
International Delivery
 
International delivery is based on the weight and the dimensions of the parcel.
 
As one or two of our products on offer are classified as particularly heavy or bulky items, littlebabycompany.com reserves the right to contact the purchaser with a quote for the correct delivery charge on these items.
 
Please allow between 5-10 working days for delivery as a worst case scenario, as we are in the hands of the efficiency of our national Mailing company, Royal Mail. Delivery times also depend on your location as some are rural and therefore require longer to arrive (as per your standard local delivery times).
 
Our next day delivery service is unfortunately not available to our international customers. 
 
RETURNS / EXCHANGES
 
At littlebabycompany.com our return policy is simple. If you (or your little one) are not completely satisfied with your purchase, it may be returned within 21 days for a full refund for the value of the product purchased. Refunds are issued to the same credit card it was purchased on, or we can issue a store credit or exchange, in each case less the relevant shipping charges. 
 
Please note that when returning items, you need to adhere to the following conditions:
-  Please be sure to take care of our products while they are in your care, as we are not able to refund or exchange anything that is not in pristine condition, unused, in its original packaging, and ready to be resold. 
-The manufacturers packaging is considered part of the product - please do not damage or deface branded boxes/packaging by adding returns postal labels etc. to this.
- Original and return postage is non-refundable. Our returns address is below. 
- Pop a copy of your packing slip or a note with your name, order number and phone number in the packaging so we can identify where it has come from and contact you if necessary. 
- Return your items within 21 days of receipt, or 10 days for sale/discounted items. 
For returns up to 21 days after the purchase, subject to the reason for returning the goods, we will consider the option of issuing a store credit.  Store credits are valid for 12 months from date of issuance. Sale items returned after 10 days will not be issued with a refund or store credit.
 
Please also note that when returning delicate items such as posters and prints, it is extremely important that you handle this and package the return carefully. Even the smallest mark, folded or creased edge / corner will make this impossible to sell.

Damage/defect claims must be made within 5 days of package arrival. Please inspect your purchases immediately upon receipt as no claims can be honored after 5 days.  Contact us for a return authorization on damaged items and we will process a claim or issue replacement.  In the event of damage caused by shipping, the delivery company may require an inspection, so please retain all packing materials.

Exceptions
 
We are sure you understand that safety and hygiene considerations prohibit us from exchanging certain items within our range.  Where applicable, this will be clearly highlighted within the product description.

Customer service is importance to us at littlebabycompany.com. Your confidence in us and the service we provide is our primary priority and we believe our returns policy is fair and open.


Exchanges
 
In the event of an exchange, items are subject to product availability and the customer will be responsible for the postage costs of returning items to be exchanged.  We can only exchange an item for a different size, style and colour subject to our stock availability.  All exchange enquirers can be made by contacting sales@littlebabycompany.com  with 'EXCHANGE' in your subject heading.  Exchanged items can only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received and undergone a quality control check.
 
How to proceed with your return or exchange
 
Please email us at sales@littlebabycompany.com to advise that you would like to make a return or exchange. In your subject heading please state whether you are claiming for a RETURN or EXCHANGE. 
Indicate whether you would like to make a return or exchange and state the desired item(s), size, colour etc.  Exchanges will be subject to our stock availability. 
Securely wrap and package the item with a note detailing your request and send to our head office address. 
Please send your return or exchange to: Little Baby Company Ltd, 9 Ashworth Park, Knutsford, Cheshire, WA16 9DE. We recommend that you send all items insured and/ or registered when sent through the mail as we cannot take responsibility for packages which we do not ship ourselves.

Receiving a refund
 
Once your package has been returned to us within the above stated time frame, unless otherwise authorized by the directors at littlebabycompany.com, we will begin to process your refund request. Each item will undergo a quality control check and once verified your refund will be processed in the original payment format as your purchase was made within 30 days of the date of your refund request.  All undamaged, correctly returned products will be credited to the original purchaser's credit card, including VAT, for all EU country customers, but excluding shipping charges. You will be notified via email to the address listed on your account when this transaction has taken place.  Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from littlebabycompany.com

Please note: If we receive your return in a condition which we feel is not fit for exchange or refund we shall get in touch with you to discuss proceedings. littlebabycompany.com reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange for any item sent back in a condition where the item has been used or damaged. Only Items which littlebabycompany.com can confirm as new and unused will be eligible for a return or exchange, provided also that they have reached our returns department within the time frame outlined above (unless otherwise agreed).  littlebabycompany.com will not accept returns or exchange goods for any non-faulty items that have been worn, washed and/or with tags removed.

A refund or exchange will not be issued for items which fail to meet our standards set forth above.

Seven day cooling off period
 
In addition to our returns policy, under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have 7 working days (beginning the day after receipt) to cancel your purchase.  In this case, we provide a full refund on the goods, less relevant delivery charges, but you must return the cancelled items at your own cost.

Your statutory rights are not affected by our returns policy.
